The Scottish Murder

Two killings, 500 miles apart, seem unconnected. A girl's body is discovered in a doorway in London, and another body is found in Dundee, Scotland. When the Scottish body mysteriously vanishes from the mortuary, Police Scotland wash their hands of the investigation as the murdered girl had recently travelled from London. The case is sent to the Met and DCI Steve Burt is assigned to both cases.

As Steve and his team delve deeper, they must battle political greed, a ruthless killer, and major corruption. They unearth a devious plan that aims to give the UK complete world domination and make a government minister very rich in the process. To protect his expected wealth the minister will eliminate anyone who gets in his way. Steve and his team face a succession of seemingly unrelated murders before the two cases finally converge with an very alarming end.
