It's been some time since the last book, The Revenge, but I think you will agree this one is worth waiting for.

This time there is a new face to help solve all the mysteries. DS Alicia Craig (Ali) has joined the team, and Si is back to his usual mischievous ways. They are also joined by Sgt Ron Campbell from the Scottish Police Force as they try to track a very strange convoy all the way from Dundee to London.

Steve and the team are back again with not one, but two, very puzzling murders to solve. Two murdered girls, one in Dundee and one in London - but what is the connection?

As usual power and greed lead to corruption at the highest level and we even have Sir Patrick Bond from MI5 getting involved again, but will Steve and Patrick be able to resolve their differences.

Happy New Year to everyone. Now we have welcomed in 2024 it's time to get back to the day job. I am in the process of sending the latest in the DCI Steve Burt murder mystery series, The Scottish Murder, to the publishers. This is the ninth book and I hope my readers will continue to enjoy this series.

It was great to meet some new friends as we celebrated an English evening at the Lagos Book Fair. After a short talk by the authors there was time for a glass of wine and chat and some book signing. Thanks to all who participated on this very pleasant evening.

Really pleased to be heading off to the Lagos Book Fair on 22nd September to have a great evening with other authors of English books. If anyone is in or around Lagos, in the Algarve why not come along.

I'm really pleased to be taking part in the book fair (Mostra do Livros) at Lagos on 22nd September. The venue is in the Armazem Regimental in Praca Infante Dom Henrique and will be on from the 17th until 29th September. The two days featuring books in English will be the 22nd and 29th September. Why not come along if you are in the area around Lagos and have a look at all the books on display.
